One decade

One decade ago my eldest son graced us with his presence for the first time.

I was telling him about the night he was born and looking at photos of the day before and after. Such a special time in our lives!

He has brought to me lessons of inner-strength, fairness, learning, time, confidence, and warm-heartedness. He is one AMAZING kid! Happy Birthday Liam!

Of course I wanted to make him the perfect card for his tenth birthday.  I based it loosely on a sketch from Create with Connie and Mary (CCMC269).

I call it boy grunge…lots of layers, a lot of dimension, a little bit of randomness, and some splatters for good measure. I also think there is lots of texture, so will be linking it up to Catherine and Cathy Create Terrific Texture Challenge

I think he will love it 🙂
