Retrosketches #69 put out this sketch this week that I REALLY like and will be certainly using again, because it is just SO darn versatile.
Here is my first take on it:
I used my new In Colour Designer Series Paper Stack for the background piece and cut it with the Finishing Touches Edgelit. I stamped using one of the great new two-step stamp sets in the new catalog called, Too Kind. I didn’t use anything to line up the stamps, just eyed it. The stem is Pistachio Pudding (to coordinate with the cardstock base), the flowers and sentiment are Crisp Cantaloupe and the second-step flower is Rich Razzleberry. Tied it together with White Bakers Twine and then popped some Pearls onto the top right corner. This card came together in a flash and is certainly copy-able for new and experienced stampers alike.
